Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: March 21, 2026
CompleteShelf is operated by MRBN, LLC. We believe in transparency, so here's how we keep the Service free for teachers.
How It Works
When you click a product link on a teacher's wishlist, that link may contain an affiliate tag. If you make a purchase through that link, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This happens at no extra cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether or not the link is an affiliate link.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Affiliate commissions help us cover the costs of running CompleteShelf — hosting, development, and support — so we can keep it free for teachers. Teachers do not pay anything to use the Service, and we do not charge donors any fees.
What This Means for You
- You pay the same price regardless of the affiliate link
- Teachers do not receive any commission — it goes to CompleteShelf
- We only link to products that teachers have chosen for their classrooms
- We do not promote specific products or retailers in exchange for higher commissions
Retailer Partnerships
We may participate in affiliate programs with retailers including (but not limited to) Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other stores where teachers find classroom supplies. Each retailer's affiliate program has its own terms and commission structure.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We are committed to honest and transparent communication with our users.
