Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, a display name (what your students call you), school or program name, city, state, and role/grade level. Your display name, city, and state may appear on your public list page. Your school name is private by default.

List Content

We store the items you add to your wishlists, including titles, URLs, prices, images, quantities, and priority levels. Items you mark as public will be visible on your shared list page.

Donor Information

When someone marks an item as purchased, they may provide their name and choose whether to display it publicly. If they opt in, their name appears on the public list. If they opt out, only the list owner (the teacher) can see their name for follow-up purposes.

Automatically Collected Information

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate and improve the Service. We use cookies to maintain your login session.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Display your public list page to donors you share it with
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service
• Improve the Service and develop new features

3. Affiliate Links

Product links on CompleteShelf may be converted to affiliate links. This means we may earn a small commission when a purchase is made through a link on the Service, at no additional cost to the buyer. This helps us keep CompleteShelf free for teachers. 4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, database, authentication)
• Legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@completeshelf.com.

7. Children's Privacy

CompleteShelf is designed for teachers and adult donors. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The Service does not require or encourage student use.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request deletion of your information
